These are now available for The People of Budj Bim.
It's only a little book, but there's been lots of toing and froing with the Gunditjmara people on the editorial committee to make sure it reflects their stories and version of the past.
The launch was at the Hamilton Art Gallery on 6 July with the community doing the honours - Auntie Phemie Day making the Welcome to Country and senior elder Ken Saunders launching the book. Editorial committee chairman Damien Bell is pictured talking about the book.
Art gallery director Danny McOwan has been very enthusiastic about the launch. He sees it as a big step forward in promoting regional reconciliation.
